Position Summary:The Phyllis and Harvey Sandler School of Social Work is seeking a social work Instructor who is dedicated to preparing social work professionals committed to social justice and improving the lives of vulnerable and at-risk populations in the public and private sector.
We are seeking an Instructor who wants to join our collegial team in the continuing growth of our social work program.
This Instructor position will involve teaching primarily micro clinical courses (i.e. practice with individuals, families, and groups).
Courses will be taught both in person and online and may be assigned on any of the FAU campuses.
These positions will begin January 2, 2018.

Minimum Qualification:Master of Social Work from an accredited school of social work required.
Minimum two years post-MSW also required.
Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching as well as a commitment to mentoring primarily undergraduate social work students and service to the school in the form of committee work and recruitment activities.

The evaluation should be scanned and electronically attached to the application.
An unofficial transcript may be used during the hiring process to assure that the prospective faculty member may be credentialed for the courses they are expected to teach. An official transcript sent directly from the institution is required for the Provost's credential file prior to the first day of employment. Similarly, for degrees from outside the United States, the evaluation by an organization belonging to the National Association of Credential Evaluation (NACES), with an indication of the documents the evaluation was prepared from (official transcripts, diplomas, dissertation abstracts) is required for the Provost's credential file prior to the first day of class.
