Kforce Operations Supervisor in Coral Gables, Florida

Kforce has a client in the Coral Gables, Florida (FL) area looking to hire an experienced Operations Supervisor. The ideal candidate will supervise and coordinate activities of the loan opener, loan processors and loan closers, to ensure the loan processing activities are performed and delivered to the clients on time. Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of underwriting guidelines to the delivery of the loan package to ensure completeness

  • Ensure compliance of the office workflow system, incorporating use of data, reports and computer hardware options

  • Prepares work schedules, coordinate vacation schedules and assigns duties to operations personnel to ensure efficiency of department operations at all times

  • Clear all loan conditions in a timely manner to allow for consistent on-time closings

  • Reviews and responds to closed loan quality control audits

  • Monitor daily reports to ensure compliance of the staff daily milestones

  • Creates required and special reports on operating functions of department, as assigned by management

  • Directs employee training to improve efficiency and ensure compliance to our standard operating procedures and investor guidelines

  • Set processes to improve organizations performance

  • Conducts staff meetings of operations personnel, or confers with subordinate personnel to discuss operational problems or explain procedural changes or practices

  • Associate's degree or higher is required

  • 2 or more years of experience, as a processor, settlement coordinator and / or underwriter including 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience

  • An equivalent combination of education and / or experience of five or more years and / or training might be considered

  • Understanding of mortgage regulation compliance

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from multiple audiences

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

  • Ability to work under demanding timelines and manage multiple tasks at once

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to mentor, train and teach others

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts and calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, ratios, and percentages

  • Strong computer skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

  • The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 10 pounds
