Description

Provides

senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprise's overall systems architecture. Facilitates the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and

implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the enterprise. Reviews, advises and designs standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on the

enterprise business process and goals. Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards. Assists in the development of and manages an architecture governance process. Provides technical guidance to

project team areas as appropriate. Tracks industry trends and maintains knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprise's architecture needs. Typically requires ten or more years experience.

This

role will also define technology use standards and pass on the learning to solution architects through knowledge sharing and mentoring.

Primary

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible

for defining the integration reference architectures that turn business and technology strategic needs into actionable solutions for teams to execute on

  • Provide

technical leadership to project technical resources, which could include solution architects, engineers, and product specialists in delivering a well designed and engineered solution that is integrated with the existing or defined IT architecture and services

framework and meets clearly defined technical requirements

  • Set

future state direction for integration technologies by continuously staying abreast of the technology marketplace

  • Set

integration architecture design standards, guidelines, and patterns for use by Solution Architects

  • Lead

engineering teams in the product selection and POC process

  • Assesses

Technology Portfolio for lifecycle impacts, consolidations and optimization opportunities that best align with business needs

  • Develops

technology roadmaps and defines future state capabilities

  • Understand

the implications of software design and implementation choices on performance and maintainability

  • Is

an evangelist of technology across the organization

  • Defines

risk mitigation strategy of technology introduction

  • Responsible

for defining next generation cloud integration architecture including API Management, microservices, PaaS and containerization.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 10+

more years of Information Technology experience

  • 5+

more years of experience working as an Solution Architect with multiple projects through the entire SDLC

  • 5+

years of experience developing architectures that solve both complex application and infrastructure problems to efficiently deploy enterprise services

  • 3+

more years of experience designing applications utilizing cloud capabilities

  • 3+

years of experience facilitating Cloud & Infrastructure strategy alignment to architecture development

  • Passion

for continuous improvement and advancing technology solutions

  • Experience

working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Candidate

should be highly organized and analytic, capable of solving business problems through the appropriate use of technology.
