The Vendor Analyst will be responsible for facilitation of the Vendor Risk Assessment process as defined under JMFE’s corporate Vendor Management Policy. This individual will support the business owner and provide insight on data, customer,
financial and reputational risks.
The ideal candidate will identify process improvements as well as lead the implementation for the deployment of a vendor management solution. Must develop strong stakeholder relationships across the entire organization, including Legal, Procurement, Enterprise
Risk, Corporate Insurance Services and Finance. A successful Vendor Analyst must be an independent, highly motivated individual who can effectively manage multiple activities with attention to detail and an eye toward continuous process improvement.
Serve as facilitator and point of contact for all Vendor Management evaluation and analysis.
Stay current with regard to industry trends and best practices for a vendor management process.
Collect and communicate information in adherence with Vendor Management Policy to all Business Owners on vendor risk and performance.
Manage collaborative meetings with Business Owners, internal departments and vendors, if necessary.
Present information and findings as well as answer questions to all levels of management.
Develop scorecards to evaluate vendor performance.
Represent vendor management to oversight and governance committees at the highest levels of the organization.
Provide training to internal business owners on vendor risk assessment process.
Coordinate the evaluation of services and/or products provided by external vendors through the development of performance scorecards by subject area.
Responsible for the risk lifecycle from on boarding to monitoring.
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
Minimum 3 years work experience in supply chain or vendor management field.
Demonstrated analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs.
Ability to gain knowledge of and follow through on company policies and procedures.
Ability to gain consensus from individuals with diverse interests.
Excellent follow through.
Excellent people management and strong communication skills (verbal & written) including presentation skills
Understanding of how to define and track performance metrics.
Ability to plan and prioritize workload.
