Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented CEI Project Engineer – Rail Track for immediate employment in the Boca Raton, FL office. The project location is Ft. Lauderdale.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • To exercise initiative and independent judgment in the solution of work problems

  • Direct specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program for Streetcar track construction

  • Plans and organizes the work of subordinate and staff members

  • Develops and/or reviews CEI methods, practices, and procedures

  • Reviews project for conformance with FDOT standards

  • Directs and assigns specific tasks to inspectors and assists in all phases of the construction project as it relates to Trackwork

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

  • 15+ years of engineering experience in construction of major road or bridge structures to include embedded track and/or light commuter rail/Public Rail Transit

  • CTQP Final Estimates Level II

  • FDOT Advanced MOT

  • Able to attend CTQP Quality Control Manager Course and pass the examination

  • Qualifications include the ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)

  • Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
