Job Description

This position is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, evaluating, and controlling the functions of Imaging services for all of our facilities.

This position collaborates with the Radiology Medical Director and other Radiologists to insure that desired standards of care are met.

Job Description Details:

Job Duties include:

  • Develop and implement strategic vision for the division that aligns with the overall hospital strategy;

  • Introduce new services and/or outreach programs that will result in growth of market share;

  • Prepare and monitor budgets for areas of responsibility;

  • Plan for improvements in equipment, systems and processes to provide people centered care;

  • Oversight of patient care services to include cost containment strategies in order to maintain competitiveness in the health care market;

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program

  • Florida Radiologic Technologist license

  • BS degree and Florida license required

  • Previous leadership experience

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to interact positively and effectively with volunteers, employees, physicians and the public

  • Ability to manage a team and work with others to ensure quality patient care

  • Knowledge of TJC, state and federal regulations as it pertains to departmental activities.
