Position Purpose:

Job Description Details:

  • Oversees supply/lmp.lant utilization in the operating room

  • Confers on a regular basis with hospital-wide Supply Chain Department to ensure effective procurement of Perioperative services materials assumes responsibility for maintaining the environment of materials management areas within the operating room

  • Facilitates standardization of products by meeting with physicians and reviewing product and financial analysis of improvement opportunities

  • Serves as the liaison with Director of Supply Chain for contract analysis

  • Serves as Medltech Resource

  • Leads and/or represents Perioperative Services on interdisciplinary and Interdepartmental work teams as needed (such as financial and surgical resource teams); Leads Perioperative Value Analysis Committee

  • Coordinates and oversees all financial aspects of supply costing for volume trends, annual capital budgeting, and billing discrepancies

  • Monitors departmental performance and compares with budget and benchmark targets

  • Monitors, investigates and resolves charge process Issues identifiedMinimum Qualifications

  • 5 years experience in OR and/or

  • RN with at least two years experience preferred
