This is a per diem position on 12-hour day shifts with no benefits. Some weekends may be required.
Job Description Details:
Assists in implementing a plan of care. Demonstrates competence in ordered treatments including but not limited to vital signs, obtaining finger-stick blood glucose samples, vascular assessments, wound assessments and measuring, sterile/clean technique, infection control, application of dressings and wraps, administration of pharmaceuticals, administration and handling of advanced dressings and therapies.
Performs data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner, focusing on the physiological, psychological, and cognitive status of each patient assigned using assessment sheets. Reports findings to the RN.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
Experience & Skills:
- One (1) year of experience in a hospital or urgent care setting is preferred.
Florida LPN license is required.
BLS card from AHA is required.
IV Certification is required.
