Kforce Facilities Project Manager in Miami, Florida

Kforce has a client in the Miramar, Florida (FL) area looking for an experienced Facilities Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible to expedient response to programs' requests for evaluation of potential space, company-wide.Essential Job Functions:

  • Plan, budget, and schedule facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions

  • Review existing floor plans and usage of space to support inpatient unit development, expansion, or relocation; make recommendation on usage

  • Assist in developing of long range plans, conceptual designs, capital outlay requirements, and documentation for facilities

  • Formulate and coordinate program specifications, requirements for proposals, contracts, and associated documents

  • Inspect construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications, State and Federal Hospice Regulations, and Building Code requirements

  • Work closely with Operation Management (VP/GM) to ensure compliance with Client standards and hospice regulations

  • Interface with program leadership and staff during all phases of development, expansion, or relocation

  • Ensure compliance with the Tenant improvement scope of work developed by clients

  • Review HVAC systems and other Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing systems with Coordinates installation of cabling for IT support in Inpatient Units

  • Recommend contractors if required; oversee and direct contractors, sub-contractors and maintenance personnel engaged in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventive maintenance

  • Coordinates all activities with architects, engineers, designers, vendors and host facility

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent required

  • 10 years of experience in related field

  • Minimum of five years prior related experience as a Facilities Manager in a hospital or healthcare environment required

  • Prior experience in construction field and ability to read blueprints required

  • Must have knowledge of healthcare regulations, inpatient unit facilities knowledge advantageous

  • Knowledge of policies and regulations pertaining to hospice inpatient facilities advantageous

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills within all levels of the organization

  • Ability to travel 50% of time if and when required

  • Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously

  • Ability to navigate within automated systems and proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Commitment to internal and external customer service
