May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

The Oracle Analytics Consulting Practice for North America Consulting (NA-TAG) is chartered with helping customers successfully leverage their investment in Oracle software for maximum returns. We assist customers by developing analytic reporting strategies, creating and implementing roadmaps, performing assessments, as well as full-life cycle implementations of Oracle's business analytic and big data suite of solutions both in the cloud and on premise.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analytics consultant with hands on experience implementing Oracle s various Business Analytics solutions and tools to join our team to help Oracle clients in their business analytics implementation projects. Oracle s drive to the Cloud has meant an increase in demand for Consulting Services including Business Analytics.

Candidates should have at least five or more years of consulting and professional experience in various Oracle Business Intelligence technologies including Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g/12C (OBIEE), Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

Candidates must have working experience on BI implementations for clients of large and medium scale industries. Have proficiency in design and development of BI objects and ETL/ELT using ODI. Exposure to any implementations of Oracle BI solutions on Oracle Cloud will be highly regarded.

The applicants are required broad and deep experience with OBIEE RPD/Report development, data warehousing concepts, ODI/Data Sync, data mapping, project implementation methodology, as well as a clear understanding of the underlying Oracle BI technology including installation and security setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with customers developing analytic reporting strategies, roadmaps, performing assessments, and planning for full-life cycle Oracle BI implementations.

  • Design, install, configure and build Oracle s pre-built Analytics applications as well as create customizations.

  • Install and configure OBIEE, ODI and Oracle s pre-built applications.

  • Understand and customize delivered Oracle Analytics functionality.

  • Provide guidance and recommendations on data warehouse capabilities.

  • Leverage Oracle best-practice implementation approaches.

  • Collect implementation requirements and convert them into tangible deliverables.

  • Setup BI security.

  • Performance tuning of OBIEE/ODI processes to meet requirements of reports and ETL jobs.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years of implementation and consulting experience around Oracle s Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions.

  • Expert skills in OBIEE 11g/12c.

  • Expert skills in ODI 11g/12c.

  • Expert skills in OBIA 11g/12c.

  • Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Service (BICS) and/or Oracle Analytics Cloud Service (OACS) is strongly preferred.

  • Strong problem solving and communication Skills.

  • Strong Oracle BI implementation project experience.

  • This is a Billable Consulting role and requires up to 100% travel.
