The Regional Lab Lead has the primary responsibility/accountability to identify opportunities and participate in the development of operational strategies, tactics and resources required to optimize the project value.

Job Duties:

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Project by:

  • Execute Services, includingthose listed herein, in compliance with all training received.

  • Recruiting,interviewing and recommending personnel for recruitment and hiring

  • Be responsible for training, supervising, and managingIQVIA IES Force personnel, including conducting performance reviews,resolving personnel issues, and taking disciplinary action, as appropriate

  • Communicating with PLL on regular and timely basis

  • Ride along on field visits with LSSs and LSLs to assessand monitor field activity and work schedules; monitor and manageperformance of LSSs and LSLs

  • Review and approve time entries, expense reports

  • Monitor compliance with SOPs, Work Instructions, theProtocol, Policies and Procedures and Applicable Law as reflected in theSOPs, Work Instructions, Protocol, Policies and Procedures.

  • Educate HCPs, staff, and other relevant stakeholders onProject and related activities, including on specific limitations ofProject (i.e., use with on-label patients only and limited to schedulingas recommended in the Product Prescribing Information)

  • Perform compliant HCP visitsbased on Lab Test Assignments scheduled through the Scheduling System andusing POC Equipment consistent with FDA-cleared and/or approved uses, andpackage inserts, and other directions for use that accompany such POCEquipment

  • Provide oversight to assigned LSSs and LSLs

  • Input reporting and notes postassignment and refer any pertinent information to the PLL

  • Meet all established KPIs, asagreed in writing by the parties

  • Report all Adverse Events inaccordance with the requirements of the MSA and as agreed in writing

  • Adhere to established goals andthe Protocol at 100% compliance

  • The RLL will be the face of theProject to HCPs/Customers scheduling lab monitoring for patients, and assuch will perform in a professional manner, including but not limited todress, conversation, privacy and safety

  • Will provide availability topersonnel operating the Scheduling System at least 4 weeks in advance andensure their electronics calendar is up to date

  • Respond to all schedulingrequests for Lab Test Assignments within 8 business hours of notification

  • Compliance with the applicableprovisions of the MSA

  • Management of assigned traveland commercial budgets within applicable SOPs, Work Instructions, theProtocol, and applicable Policies and Procedures

  • Any additional duties as assigned by IQVIAProject management and PLL

  • Confirm with US HCP, at eachLab Test Assignment, that usage of Project is on-label in accordance with ProductPrescribing Information, using approved resources for documentingconfirmation

Job Qualifications:


  • EMT II or III, Med/Lab Tech, orNurse with all current and valid license(s)

  • Previous experience workingin/with Labs or POC device (4+ years)

  • Previous Manager experience (4+years) preferred

  • Demonstrated ability tocollaborate and provide oversight with LSS staff to build the bestcustomer experience and partnership for the project

  • Must be able to manage multipletasks and have excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to examine businessenvironment and develop/execute in response to market opportunities

  • Ability to travel (60 - 80%)

  • Strong planning andprioritization skills

  • Excellent communications skills– both written and verbal

  • Drive and enthusiasm

  • Exceptional interpersonalskills and the ability to build and deliver results

  • Ability to build and maintainrelationships with third parties

  • Fully competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to attain a passing grade on all tests andcertifications required to perform Services in the Territory
