Kforce Dispute Resolution Specialist in Miami Gardens, Florida

Kforce has a client in the Miami Gardens, Florida (FL) area looking for an experienced Dispute Resolution Specialist. Responsibilities:

  • This position is responsible for processing, resolving and responding to billing disputes that arise from customer purchases, including researching the cause of the dispute(s)

  • Preparing responses and posting to customers online portals

  • Entering information into GP

  • Keeping accurate records and working with the accounting team

  • Handle all billing disputes for assigned businesses

  • Research and resolve disputes utilizing Company guidelines

  • Analyze disputes to determine proper recourse and appropriate action for resolution

  • Verify items billed against items ordered and receive and reconcile differences through follow-up with the vendor and/or other employees

  • Audit invoices against purchase orders, research stated discrepancies, and respond to disputes

  • Prepare and process documents to respond to billing disputes with customers

  • Reconcile report discrepancies to address billing disputes

  • Ensure the necessary actions are taken to recover funds from customers

  • Meet and exceed department minimum standards for disputes processed

  • Enter, update, and/or retrieve accounting data from GP, authorize.net and customer portals

  • Compile and review information for accuracy and records maintenance

  • Review on-line transactions for changes and accuracy

  • Run monthly report to review & maintain billing accuracy, based on offered pricing per customer

  • Work with other departments to complete job requirements (CS for disputes, Sales for pricing, etc.)

  • Design, prepare, and maintain spreadsheets using basic mathematical calculations

  • Interpret and apply instructions and guidelines to resolve work problems

  • Assist with the documentation of Accounting SOPs

  • Dispute all chargebacks; dispute all payment discrepancies

  • Update and maintain customer portals and profiles with banking information

  • Associate's degree preferred and / or two to four years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages

  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting Software; Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM software
